Italian technology goes to Revestir 2015
The Italian ceramic machinery manufacturers, coordinated by Acimac, will be taking part in the exhibition in São Paulo (Brazil) from 3 to 6 March
Recently back from India, the Italian Ceramic Machinery and Equipment Manufacturers’ Association Acimac is continuing its promotional campaign with a trip to Brazil for the exhibition Revestir, to be held from 3 to 6 March in the Transamérica Expo Center in São Paulo.
Acimac will be coordinating the participation of 12 Italian companies at the show: Ancora, BMR, Cielle, Gabbrielli Technology S.r.l., ICF – Welko, LB Officine Meccaniche, Perissinotto, Poppi, Sacmi – Intesa, System, Surfaces and Tecnoferrari. The 420 square metre floor space will provide the perfect platform for Italian companies to display their latest technological innovations to South American customers.
The most important South American show for the building and home furnishing sector, Revestir 2015 will host 250 exhibitors in a total floor space of 40,000 sq.m and is expected to attract around 50,000 visitors. During the show, Acimac and the Italian Trade Agency ITA will be promoting the forum Tecnargilla do Brazil, the annual educational conference for Brazilian ceramic industry technicians.
Brazil is the world’s second largest ceramic tile producer with a 2013 output of 871 million sq.m (0.6% up on the previous year).
South America is the sixth largest outlet market for exports of Italian ceramic machinery, accounting for sales of 182.2 million euros in 2013 (13.3% of the total).
