Italian machinery at Indian Ceramics 2015
Acimac and the Italian Trade Agency ITA are coordinating the participation of Italian companies in the show to be held in Ahmedabad, India from 21 to 23 January
At the exhibition Indian Ceramics to be held from 21 to 23 January in Ahmedabad (India), Acimac (Italian ceramic machinery and equipment manufacturers’ association) and the Italian Trade Agency ITA are coordinating a 300 sq.m joint pavilion hosting eleven Italian ceramic companies. Acimac and ITA will also be present with their own stand to provide support to exhibitors and attending member companies.
The Italian pavilion will occupy a total space of around 600 sq.m, making it the largest group of foreign exhibitors. The companies present include Sacmi, System, SITI B&T, LB, Air Power, Durst, Setec, Tecnoferrari, Mectiles, Certec, TekMak, Tecnema, Manfredini & Schianchi, Martinelli, Bernini, Bongioanni, Tecnofiliere, Stylgraph, Tecnografica, Colorobbia, Smalticeram, Smaltochimica and Lamberti.
The world’s third largest ceramic tile producing country with annual output volumes of almost 750 million sq.m, India has been experiencing rapid growth for a number of years. It is therefore a very attractive market for the Italian suppliers of technology, raw materials and services. This explains the strong Italian presence at the tenth edition of Indian Ceramics, the largest Indian exhibition for suppliers to the tile, sanitaryware and heavy clay sectors.
Indian Ceramics 2015 is organised by MMI India (a company owned by Messe München International) and is backed by the Indian government and the major national ceramic associations. This year’s show aims to further improve on the last year’s results of 164 exhibitors and 5,325 visitors.
