Italian ceramic technology sets off for Bangkok

The Italian ceramic machinery and equipment manufacturers’ association ACIMAC and the Italian Trade Commission ICE have organised a joint participation of Italian companies in the first edition of Asean Ceramics, to be held in Bangkok from 11 to 13 September
Italian ceramic technology, the world leader in terms of innovation and automation, will take centre stage at the first edition of the Thai exhibition Asean Ceramics, to be held in Bangkok from 11 to 13 September.
The Italian area will be located in a highly visible position under the banners of ACIMAC and ICE, the associations that have organised the Italian companies’ participation.
Italian technology will be represented by: Bedeschi, Capaccioli, Cielle, Expert System Solutions, Gabbrielli Technology, Manfredini & Schianchi, Mectiles, ReMix, Sacmi, Setec and TCK.
The Asean area countries, with Thailand as the commercial capital, offer excellent growth prospects for Italian ceramic technology, which already boasts a leadership position in the region.
In 2012, 16.5% of Italian exports were shipped to the region defined in Acimac Studies Centre surveys as “Others Asia”, which includes the Asean countries. The value of Italian exports to the area totalled 212.5 million euros.
