The Economics Department is responsible for monitoring and providing support in the following main areas:

• customs legislation and rules for importing and exporting products
• domestic and international financing
• corporate law and legislative aspects of sector issues (sales contracts, agency, technical support, tenders, etc.)
• legislation relating to the sector (business networks, privacy, administrative liability of companies in accordance with Italian law 231, etc.)
• international financial regulations on international payments, relations with SACE, SIMEST, etc. for support for machinery exports
• relations with banks, bank loans and credit access
• activities relating to management of trademarks and patents

The Economics Department manages and stipulates agreements of special interest to member companies with favourable economic conditions. Member companies can also make use of the network of agreements offered by Confindustria.
